Reiki, Wicca, and Me.......

There has been so much interest in the spiritual paths Ms. Bishop studies and follows that it seemed appropriate to share them with her readers as well. Afterall, that is what guides her as she writes each of her books and as she lives her life each day.

Rosemarie Bishop was born and raised in a Catholic faith family where two of her great-aunts and a second cousin were Felician Sisters. She adores the Catholic faith to this day and she loves the Christian beliefs overall, but that has never stopped her intense curiousity about other cultures and faiths. Ms. Bishop does not believe any of us are forced to live in a bubble that shuts us off from others in the world. So, not only does she study different religions and spiritual beliefs, but she also engages in those that are of particular interst to her, including her recent ordination as a Reverand in the Universal Life Church, through which she has received her Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree and is working toward her Doctorate of Metaphysics Degree.
Her two favorites, however, are the age-old, healing practice of Reiki - Ms. Bishop is a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition - and Wicca, which is simply a nature religion.
When called upon, Ms. Bishop makes time to work as a certified Spiritual Counselor for those in need of finding their true paths in life and to help bring people closer to their Creator and families closer to each other.
